Contributing towards community resilience and social justice in Nepal

This report presents collections of success stories from the Nepal Development Program of the Lutheran World Federation Nepal (LWF Nepal). It encapsulates the contributions made by the program to strengthening community resilience, economic transformation of poor and oppressed, access on public service and resources and ensuring community led action for social justice in various project locations. Achievements made at the individual, group, community and institutional levels under the program are presented under three thematic areas:

1. Disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness and response;
2. Sustainable livelihoods and food security;
3. Community-led actions for governance and justice.

The stories are collected from the field following observations of project activities, results and interactions with stakeholders, including right holders. The statements made in the stories are of the right holders and stakeholders, which may not necessarily represent the official opinion or position of LWF Nepal.
