Prime minister visit:

Rev. Dr Martin Junge as he met with Prime Minister Rt Hon. Mr K.P. Sharma Oli on 16 September

”The LWF remains committed to stay in Nepal, and to support in what way is needed for the people here, to find durable solutions for people in need, and particularly for the Bhutanese refugees currently in the camps in Jhapa and Morang,” said LWF general secretary Rev. Dr Martin Junge as he met with Prime Minister Rt Hon. Mr K.P. Sharma Oli on 16 September.

“We will be awaiting your direction in the way forward, and are ready to step up our support as necessary,” Junge added.

The prime minister affirmed the valuable work of the LWF in the country for the past three decades, and urged, “stay with us, continue to work with us, continue to support us in the work for those in need.”
